Butanol is being made by other bioprocesses as well, BUT have you ever worked around butanol?
Butanol would be classified in the "fusel oil" category. Those of some of the compounds in booze that make you feel REALLY bad the next day.
They are considered central nervous system poisons.
But it is a good fuel if you can make it cheaply enough.,
I didn't like corn, anyway...
