Saturn fuel pump relay switch

Dec 18, 2005 1 Replies

I am hoping someone out there has an answer for me. My daughter has a

2001 Saturn SL series. We have replaced the coil pack, but still cannot get the car to start. We believe the pump relay switch needs to be reset, but have not been able to locate. I would appreciate any suggestions. My only other option is to pay to have her car towed to the dealership, so they can charge me $$$ to flip a switch.

Wasn't aware that GM was doing fuel pump shutoff switches.. thought that was a Ford thing. If they have one, it should be listed in the owner's manual, or call the dealer and ask.

As you've jumped from spark to fuel, I'd suggest spraying a small amount of starting fluid into the intake and see if the engine fires.. how did you determine that the relay switch went bad?..
