what are used catalytic converters generally worth for scrap?

I recently had the 35 year old aluminum line from the street to my house replaced by the electric company with another aluminum line. The wire on the pole from the transformer is aluminum also. Perhaps in your area it's different, but copper is both heavy and expensive in all parts of the country.

Didn't say anything about "wire". Just said "aluminum". Heads, intakes, blocks, water pumps, plentum's, wheels, trans, ...etc.
