I popped open the hood of my car yesterday to check a couple things out, but I am having trouble closing it completely. Can anyone help me out?

I popped open the hood of my car yesterday to check a couple things out, but I am having trouble closing it completely. Can anyone help me out?
Make sure that the hood latch is in the open position, lift the hood about
