Corolla DTR Low beams stopped working

2001 Toyota Corolla. Just happened that both low beams stopped working. High beams still function It is unlikely both bulbs went. I checked fuses that I know of: 2 red
10's in the forward fuse box. I have two guesses and would rather narrow it down to one, or even know if it something else. I think it could be the Dimmer relay ($75 item) or the headlight switch. Anyone had this problem?

Thanks

I would invest in a volt/ohm meter or 12 volt test light before I invested in any replacement parts.

Check for voltage at the low beam light connectors. It is more likely that both low beams burnt out at roughly the same time than a bad part. If there is no voltage, check the headlight relay (I'm not sure what a "dimmer relay" is). Check the headlight relay for control and for switched voltage.
