Costco Reports Hoarding

Apr 22, 2008 10 Replies

Tonight on the nightly business report, they said costco reported people are stocking up on rice and flour especially in Cali. and (at an even higher rate in) the san francisco bay area.

What's next..

What's wrong with that? Ever hear of a stock-up sale?

In addition, because Costco sells rice for less than some other stores, restaurant owners and small businesses are selling more rice to these costumers.

And, in some cases, people in the LA area are shipping the rice overseas.

The Earth has a limited ability to supply food and energy. We are getting closer to those limits.

I meant to say restaurant owners and small businesses are buying more rice from Costco.

DOH!

How can anybody tell when a Costco shopper is hoarding?

I don't eat rice and what the hell is cali? Frisco is a hot bed of lazy liberals. What do you expect other than panic.

Mike, you don't need to be a jerk every day.
