My 91 toyota celica st doors are messed up. both doors wont open from the outside, the drivers side door opens from the inside but the passenger door dosent even open. i cant get the door panel off the check it out anything to help would be great.

Someone used a slim jim on the car and broke the clips that hold the latch rods. You will have to remove the arm rest and then pop the door panel off straining on the perimeter to see which clips are either broken or just popped off.

Ouch... If it is the clips call your local junp yard's they should have a

91' Celica. If that fails try a Toyota Dealership they may have or be able to get them.

Celica00GT

Last time I replaced the clips they were less than $1 each new from the dealer --- they are plastic.

if i could get the door panel off i would be able to get the door open, but to get the panel off the door has to be open because there are screws on the side of the panel. i dont know how to get it off without breaking it

What happens when you pull in the inner or outer door release? does it act like it is locked or does it act like they are disconnected?

If it acts like it is locked, spray Lock-ease into the key hole and try to work the lock loose.

If it acts like it is disconnected, remove the interior door release and try to get a rod in to release the latch.
