After spending over $700 to clean out the mess mice made in my ventilation system I thought I would check to see if any of this was covered by my insurance. I just got the word that they would be sending me a check (minus the $200 deductible). I'm sure glad I checked!

What insurance company? What part of your policy was it covered under? What exactly did you tell them?

I am insured by AMICA. I told them on the phone what had happened and they told me to send them a copy of the paid bill. It was covered under the comprehensive portion.

You are lucky, most would say mice are a act of GOD. I used to sell cookies and once a 4000.00 shipment was seized by red ants. they told me ants are from GOD and tough luck.
