I really should investigate things better, shouldn't I?
It appears the Tranny cooling tubes are actually OK (Not GOOD, just OK) and the fluid, when I first looked, appeared to be leaking from what I found today was the speedometer cable...See my Signature...
And, it appears the fluid is squirting out of the pan gasket, almost along the length of the pan. So, I probably have a toast pan gasket, and $55 worth of cooling tube (and what appear to be the very LAST two cooling tubes in existance for this car...). Guess I'll buy the other tranny for $50, scavenge the solenoids, get a new pan gasket and the 4" adapter that runs from the trany to the rest of the speedo cable, and do it all at once...
