How come the British presence in Iraq has not stopped bombings or attempts in England?

Oh...and another question: Iraq's borders are porous. Anybody can come or go any time they want. We can't stop them. How come we haven't seen dozens of attacks here?

The borders of Iraq are porous. Terrorists can come and go as they please. Why haven't we seen dozens of attacks here?

LOL

There are many reasons. Inelegance gained from the enemy combatants we hold, the federal surveillance of know Islamic radicals, communicating with others in the US and cutting off their funds are most like the reasons. The current administration does not hold to pre 9/11 thinking and they understand we are in a world wide war with these nuts. The President is taking the fight to the enemy at the advice of the Generals, for another

Don't waste your time LOL-ing, do something useful....like going back to sleep, or having another tug on the jug. (And since Roosevelt didn't do an awful lot about the growing menace in Europe ....just lendlease and such...it's more likely that we'd be speaking Japanese.

Sayonara, mike-san.

"Inelegance"?

Tell me something I don't already know!

Now *this* deserves a LOL! ;-D Gotta give those guys some finishing school lessons; don't want that inelegance rubbing off on our people, too!

My automatic spell checker must have thought the information was 'inelegantly' obtained. An intelligent fifth grader would have read that sentence and realized immediately what was meant. Cathy surly you are smarter than a fifth grader? ;)

mike

Duh... of course I knew what it was -supposed- to be! But it came out so... absurdly! ;-D Better check what your spell checker suggests! ;-P

Cathy

You know, I've thought the same. Seemingly educated people cannot decipher simple spelling errors. Makes me wonder about who is teaching the kids AND what they are teaching them!!

Who has time to edit, not me

mike

Holy mackerel. Of course I knew what he -meant- to say, but the resultant typo error was so funny, I commented on it w/ a "LOL". Jeez. (And there's some conservative here who keeps stating that the liberals have no sense of humor. Ha!)

You think we don't teach contextual comprehension? If so, you'd better think again, buster.

Cathy

Splork! Obviously.

Cathy

That would be George Bush, AKA the president who didn't stop even one of the four 9/11 attacks.

Do you actually mean that America has acquired crude manners from those prisoners? Or did you, as usual write that with the help of your longtime top advisors, Jack Daniels and Johnny Walker? ;)

Each one of them probably has DOUBLE your IQ, you simpleton sack of LIEbrawl s*it.

Those (most LIEbrawls who love to appease terrorists) don't realize that to NOT learn from history (Neville Chamberlain's mistakes), is to to repeat the same mistakes. CLUE: one cannot bargain with terrorists, etc.: there is ONLY one language they understand--force, force and more force.

Which is telling the reading that what you have to say is not worth much.

Jeff

I meant to say reader, not reading. Geez.

See what I mean about editing. I double checked and found a mistake. However, I respect the readers enough to correct it.

Jeff
