Sad day for America

According to TV news, it appears Nancy Pelosi has bribed enough of the Dims to vote for a healthcare bill that will tax everyone to pay for nation healthcare. The Medicaid provisions in that bill will also cause you state taxes to go up as well because the state must pay half of Medicaid.

FDR said, This day will live in infamy," after the Japs attacked Pearl Harbor. Like December 7,1941 and September 11, 2001, March 21 2010 will also live in infamy as the most devastating attack on America.

In 1941 and 2001 we were attacked by our enemies. Today were will be attacked by the worst possible enemy a county can have, the enemy within. We spent billions to fight our foreign enemies, but we will fight the enemy within with the strongest weapon in our arsenal, the ballot.

In 1941 I left school early to fight in WWII. I will be 84 on March 22nd. Years ago when I sold my fleet service business I set up trust funds for all of my grand children and great grand children. Since then I have been endowing Hospitals and Colleges with my wealth.

From now on I will us my considerable wealth to help see the Supreme Court declare this law Un-Constitutional before I die. I intend to donate $500,000 to the Sate of Florida to aid the AG in the court fight he and 29 mother states will bring the day after BO signs it into law.

In addition I will contribute to ANY candidate that runs in the Primary, including next months, against any of the Dims that voted to destroy the best Healthcare system in the world. I will also contribute to the general election campaign of ANY candidate, if the Dim that voted for that laws wins his primary

I suggest all Americans, that love this country, do whatever they can to see that none of the Dims that voted for that law are even elected to any elected position again.

And why would I vote for any republican? I'm backing Sestak because Specter is not really a Democrat. The only republican I vote for is my state rep. She is still an old-guard republican.

IF your party means more to you than you principles is the reason why I suggested NOT voting for them in the PRIMARY. Pick a new DIM, if that is your choice but do not re-elect anyone that votes for this terrible law

I was as Democrat most of my life until Reagan proved to me that they were the ENEMY of the working, man not his friend.

On this we agree. I probably won't get the chance, since they're going to cut Medicare. And the way the law is written, I either have to pay for my own dialysis or Medicare pays for it. I couldn't even pay for one month of dialysis at the normal billed rate with my 401k, and I've been saving for 20 years. Of course, that's not the rate Medicare pays, of course.

Ed Syphillis voting for a Republican? Oh, he said "Old-Guard" Republican. We just put one of those in jail here. Remember Governor Ryan?

So we know Ed is an elitist and the disease is getting to his brain.

I've been looking for pictures of Al Capone fishing in his swimming pool. That would be a perfect picture of Ed, I think.

My wife has a pacemaker and some serious conditions. I have Neuropathy, Diabetes and other problems. It won't be long until Medicare is primary and our group coverage is taken away from us. Our Taxes will go up and the new 16,500 or so IRS Agents will make sure you damned well pay for the new health care or go to jail and get fined. This is not democracy this is not our Constituion. We are not a scoialst democracy or socialist state. National Health care is acehivable but the special interests have established their rume and force compliance. They will penalize and persecute if you don't conform. Thi will not stand unless our elected represenatives are gutless and trully owe their allegiance to something other than the Republic and American citizens.

Our local congressman (Democrat) voted against the bill. He left Harvard during the VietNam war and enlisted. Fought in country as a jr NCO, He felt the current legislation did not address the problems with the current healthcare system except to pile more dollars on something that is broken. Unfortunately, there are not enough like him.

Don't forget, Mike.

"An unjust law is no law at all."

This was originally stated by St. Augustine, Bishop of Hippo.

It was also quited by Dr Martin Luther King Jr.

Jesus F. Christ! What is the big deal? An industry that is sucking up 18% of the nation's wealth every year gets it's tit stuck in the ringer and we act like the world is coming to an end. Something had to be done or half the nation would be taking care of the other half's health care in 25 years. Gosh, enjoy the day. Is that to hard to do? I've got to hand it to FOX they sure exploited the misery loves company market. Go sit on the porch and drink a cup of coffee or a beer enjoy the rest of the day. The sun will come up tomorrow for more people than it did today.

The attitude well something had to be done...even if it cuts our throat. higher taxes..mandated force participation or fines and jail...16,500 more IRS Agents....Death Panels and mandatory end of life counciling every 5 years....cut Medicare coverage....make everyone pay an additional several thousand dollars a year....coverage for Illegal Aliens... Are you anticipating building a Soilent Green Plant???? No one is going to welcome their congress person home except the small group of immediate influence and a bunch of phone press conferences featuring paid and or bussed in enthusiastic supporters. When the pace maker has to be replaced in 4 years is it going to be it's not covered, at your age, we encourage you to go to counciling for imminent death? Our Congressman is laboring under the assumption, that;s only a guess or is completely cluess, on this issue. The Folks around here, this evening They don't want him to come back. Democrats, most every one, say they won't vote for him again. People are mad and the whole range of being upset. No one is threatened anyone but it would do well for our treasonous Congressmen and women to stay, in Washington, it seems. No doubt the inner city if Chicago might welcome them as well as other socialist enclaves. If this Legislation was for the People it wouldn't be threatening and oppressive. It wouldn't include things that will decimate our economy and our immediate pocket books, like coverage for Mexico's Nationals taking American's jobs and driving up our taxes etc.

It will pass.

I hope everyone loves the dims and their healthcare. They will be needing it when they get the bill and find out how they gave away the worlds best healthcare.

Oh well, enjoy the moment dims.

Yep - typical government solution: Got a bad situation - someone broke a leg so you put a tourniquet on their arm. Problem is the leg is still broken, and now you have to amputate the arm.

Yeah - I love the "But we *have* to do something!!!" crowd.

How about fix it with solutions that would really accomplish something? What a concept.

Don't waste your time arguing with either Fathead Moe or any of the other liberals here. They don't listen to any opinion they don't agree with. They think all people that don't agree with them are righttards, and they quickly degenerate into namecalling. They've smoked the hopium and their minds are blown.

I caught the tail end of an interview in which the congressman said something about a limit of eight doc visits per year. I don't know if he was referring to some state program or this one. After that, you pay the full amount. Don't hold me to it, as I was just walking into the room.

If true, there're going to be a lot of pissed off people.

Are you going to feel this way when your taxes skyrocket, and you can't just pick up the phone to make a doc appointment that'll be in the near future?

Reply to

Nope - invented and currently practiced in countries with socialized medicine and advocated by Obama tzars. You obviously don't read enough.

Eight visits! I get two a year with my insurance, which doesn't leave enough for the tests the doc wants. Then the "free money" that I paid up front is gone and it's out of pocket after that until the 5500 deduction is reached. So I'm paying 4K a year for two doctor visits a year so I can get a couple of 4 dollar scrips filled at wallyworld. You bet I'm for this health care bill, the insurance companies brought it on themselves. I'm going to have to have a couple of heart attacks to ever break even on what I've paid for health insurance. There is health care rationing now, and I'm one of those that are rationed.

Yep, all this debt, bailout, corruption, "free" health care and big fat government is going to cost Amricans big time. Get ready for a big fat national VAT or GST sales tax. You know, the kind other leftist statistim type nations like Canada and the UK have. And watch income tax rise.

Hey Mike, why the change of heart? I thought you were all in support of GM and fat marxist governemnt? Well, getting your wish you freaking hypocrite.

LMAO.

GM, they just keep on sucking just like liberal-lefties and democriters are about to show you.
