OT: Overuse of antibiotics

Apparently some folks have an ongoing problem with facts when they are presented. What I posted is factual. LOL

mike

DUH! What I posted supports the fact one can not use hot water to disinfect ones person, dummy LOL

mike

DUH no kidding, moron LOL

mike

Nobody claimed that the hot water was the operative factor.

True, but it had nothing to do with the discussion, since nobody suggested that hot water was an operative factor. You just posted your message because nobody at the "home" wants to talk to you this morning.

What draws you to that conclusion?

No one said that what you have to say in this thread is incorrect. They just questioned the relevancy of your comments.

But I will your facts. You wrote: "The highest tempeperature at which a person will recoil, when a substance touches their body, is around 120 degrees."

Really? I would think someone would recoil at higher temperatures than

120 degrees. In fact, I think people would recoil more when something hotter than 120 degrees touches them, compared with something that is cooler than 120 degrees.

In fact, I would think 120 degrees is around the *lowest* temperature at which a person will recoil. That's one reason why hot water heaters are set to 120 F.

Jeff

Well, who can blame them? Maybe he should go and get more newspapers.

jeff

And I never claimed otherwise, dummy.

Re-read my original post, or get someone to do it for you. Possibly your next door neighbor's fourth-grader.

Newspapers? I thought they used diapers these days for patients like Hunter.

Particularly if one uses oxygen as the 'fuel' to heat the water, right? LOL

mike

What does that have to do with the highest temperature at which a person recoiling being 120 F?

If you made a mistake, admit it. I admitted my error.

You have yet to admit that you made a mistake when you said that VINs have something to do with percent US content.

We all make mistakes. You said what you said was factual, when it was wrong. You need to own up to your mistakes.

Jeff

Hunter has virtually no grip on reality, and is gets lost in conversations that last more than 11 minutes.

Everytime someone gets a soar throat, they run to the doctor and get antibiotics ASAP. Goodness forbid we have to have a few days of sore throat or congestion.

For sore throat I only use natural remedies, I drink hot ginger tea and Gargle several times a day with warm salt water

I can't believe we're discussing this trivial bullshit, when much more important things are going on.

Door...hit...ass...

A man went to see his doctor because he was suffering from a miserable cold. His doctor prescribed some pills, but they didn't help. On his next visit the doctor gave him a shot, but that didn't do any good. On his third visit the doctor told the man, "Go home and take a hot bath. As soon as you finish bathing throw open all the windows and stand in the draft." "But doc," protested the patient, "if I do that, I'll get pneumonia." "I know," said the doctor, "I can cure pneumonia."
