Nope, Paris was put in the "Special Needs" section of a totally separate facility and had a double-bunk cell all to herself. Even at it's worst she had it really good, compared to the General Population where they are stacking them in like cordwood and still cutting people loose early for overcrowding.

Basically, her lawyer had her psych (iatrist/ologist, not sure) "evaluate" her, and then went to the Sheriffs Official in charge of the jail and made some very thinly veiled threats - that her condition is deteriorating, and if you don't cut her loose and my rather rich client (who can afford some really good lawyers) has a breakdown, we're suing the county for a few billion.

I want the Judge to subpoena the Sheriff or the "assistant sheriff" in charge of that jail (whoever made that decision) to appear in court and explain that decision, then tossed in the pokey for a few days for contempt of court if needed.

Then the Judge tells Paris to Buck Up and take it. If she has a breakdown, she can spend it in the psych ward of the jail hospital, but she stays in and serves her time. The forced dry-out period might be the only thing that saves her rich stupid ass...

If I was into joining a 'Dead Pool', Paris Hilton would be on my short list of candidates, since the younger you die the more points you are worth. She's on the fast road to the same fate as Anna-Nicole and John Belushi - and Lindsay Lohan is close behind.

I blame her parents for that. Bing Crosby, though he was a tyrant in many ways, had it right when it comes to money. He willed his money to his kids only after age 65. He figured if they hadn't made their marks on the world by then, he'd take care of them in their old age. All of them were washouts, unfortunately, but I think that had to do with other family problems, rather than money.

No, good sense. The others were smarter, despite their idiotic parents.

I have this strong suspicion that she is suffering from psychotic depression. Many of the symptoms are there and she may have failed to take the medication for it while in jail.
