Only a drooling idiot substitutes "u" for "you", unless you're 30 seconds from being eaten by a grizzly and you need to send one last text message.
Want a laugh? I recently handled some paperwork for my father regarding my late mother. The HMO representative started out his e-mail salutation thusly:
"How are u today, sir?"
My immediate response was that this had to be some post-adolescent moron thinking he was sending me a freakin' text message on his cell phone. A consummate professional.
I blame the attitude so prevalent on usenet or the 'Net. Unintentional errors or typos aside, spelling is fast becoming a lost cause.
Actually, that is quite common in informal writing, especially with devices with small keyboards. I see nothing wrong with it. English is an evolving language. However, it is not accepted in formal work.
It is quite common to proofread your work before sending it, if you want to be seen as professional, too. Sanjana didn't do that. Even if it is not a site done for making money (this one is), it makes sense to make it look good and professional, especially your advertising.

Molesting children is also common.
Using 'u' for you is accepted in informal texting. Molesting children isn't and never should be accepted.
