Switch has 3 positions: top=headlights on, middle=dash lit and running lights on, bottom=dash off and running lights on ...there's no off !!

Switch has 3 positions: top=headlights on, middle=dash lit and running lights on, bottom=dash off and running lights on ...there's no off !!
Maybe he is in Canada and DRL is required when headlights are not on.
