My husband Bob has decided that when he gets back from Korea, he'll buy a Scion Xa. We test-drove the Matrix, but thought the interior felt too cramped. The Xa has the same feel as my beloved Echo, so that's the one we're getting. He's getting the metallic blue automatic (He can't drive standard).
As for the '87 Corolla, we're doing some body work on it, and if our son doesn't want it, we'll sell it. It only has 137k on it!
We're going to be stationed at Pope AFB in North Carolina, which will be a considerably shorter drive than the last few moves! (California to New Hampshire, New Hampshire to Arizona, Arizona to Florida)
