I am looking to replace my Previa, whose frame is rusting. I will want to buy an all wheel drive 5-speed Previa this June, July, or August. They are not common so I'm shopping ahead. If you have one and are thinking of selling soon but not right away, drop me a line. Must be sound mechanically and structurally (ie no rusted frame-I already have one of those!), less than 170,000 miles, cosmetic problems negotiable.

A 5 spd Previa is even more rare then hens teeth. I think I've seen maybe 3 in my life at a dealership. I have never seen an AWD one, EVER. So good luck!
That's because all the factory people were taking them for demos!
I saw one advertised last year, but at the time I was shopping for a
2nd generation 4 cyl 5speed 4runner (i didnt know my frame was rusted at the time, though mine is an automatic, otherwise I wold have snatched it up!). The 4runners are also uncommon, but not compared to 5 speed AWD Previas. Thats why I'm starting to look months in advance! It may take years to find one.Ha! Found one for sale today, although its 2 months too soon and it has
30K more miles than I want. BTW, how hard /expensive would it be to convert a 5 speed RWD to an AWD, since I have all the parts in my soon to be dead 91 AWD? Or is that just a plain dumb idea? How about chucking a 5-speed in an automatic AWD? I might have one of those in my also soon to be dead 86 4runner, though I dont know if they're the same. I'm guessing neither would be a very practical idea for other reasons anyway....
Wayne, Preiva to Previa swap could work, the 4Runner stuff wont.
