MY TOYOTA CAMRY IS BROKE DOWN IT WONT SHIFT OUT OF PARK CAN ANYONE HELP ME

Could be shift interlock problem. The lever won't move out of the Park position unless the brake pedal is depressed (you could try reading it front page news :-) If this relay fails to release, there is an over ride switch located under a plastic button just above and to the left of the shift lever. Pry out the small plastic cover with a screwdriver, and press down to release the shift interlock over ride. Then try to find the source of the problem. Since the shift interlock is controlled by the brake light switch, may be as simple as adjusting the small pin switch actuated by the brake pedal arm.

NO, AND IT IS AN AUTOMATIC. I WAS AT A CONVENIENCE STORE LEFT IT RUNNING CAME BACK OUTSIDE GOT IN AND IT DIED. TRIED TO START IT UP AND NOW IT WON'T EVEN SHIFT FROM PARK CAN YOU HELP ME?
