A car inspection on a used car I want to buy found 'bad' CV joints and steering joints. The car is a '92 Camry with 85K miles and is in pretty good shape. I need to have this repaired to pass inspection. This doesn't sound like Camry quality if CVs need replacing with this low mileage. Could it be the boot leaked and rust set in. maybe the milage was set back, Id have a mechanic look at it , look for signs and completly test it, compression, everything then offer what it is worth
Well maybe the original owner just ignore broken CV boots and ruined the joints. Could be the owners fault not the cars. The older boots did not last as long as the newer ones it seems to me. Heck the car is almost 12 years old...
Once again a fool's belief that a Toyota should be perfect no matter what abuse it's subjected to or what age it is.
