driving problem when engine is not fully warmed-up

I am not very technical then the others who frequent this newsgroup, but I would suspect that the transmission or some sensors might not be working right. Do you have the vehicle records of when the transmission and filter kit was last changed on the car? If not, take it to the dealer and get the complete transmission fluid and filter kit as well as a fuel filter kit.

When the vehicle is warmed up, is the shifting and acceleration working ok? If it is, get rid of the trannie fluid as preventive maintenance as well as run a bottle of injector cleaner.

Leaking secondary ignition is my guess. Replace the cap/wires, rotor and all plugs. Use OE parts!

The transmission fluids was changed 2 weeks ago and I am sure when they do transmission fluid change, they also replaced the filter. But the problem has not gone away.

Are you suggesting that I do a tune-up on the car? The car starts without any problems...but the first 2-5 minutes after the car has started the car just does not want to move. One thing I have noticed ... If I put the transmission on something other than "D"... example "3" or "2". Then the car is drivable that first few minutes. The RPM is high? but the car is very much drivable.

After those few minutes; then the car is okay... you can put it back on "D" and the car runs great.

I am not sure what else I can try to resolve this issue. Any suggestions?
