what a great car. just rented a 2005 camry for a 2000 plus mile trip and got 35 mpg on the road. at 75 to 80 mph. with the new 5 speed auto transmission the engine is only turning 2000 rpms at 64 mph. can get well over 500 miles per tank of gas with almost a quarter tank left. a new 05 le list at about $20500.00 i consider this a good deal. thinking of getting one of these this fall. great ride too. where else can you get 35 mpg in a car of this size and quality, toyota is # 1 again.

Interesting, I did not know they had
5 speed automatics but it is true. I see all 2005 now are equiped with ABS also. It was included on my 97 Le I have but in later models it became an extra cost option, glad it is back.Join the Discussion
