The rider side door armrest is splitting along the seam that runs horizontally just under the top flat area of the armrest. It is getting worse with time. I tried gluing it, but that was a disaster. I told my wife I would take it to the dealer, as I didn't think a regular garage could handle something like that. Knowing that dealer's prices were likely to be high, she asked if somewhere else, such as a detail or body shop, might be able to make that repair. I wasn't sure, but thought I would run this past the newgroup. Anyone ever been through somethong like this ? Where would I have the best luck getting this fixed ?
Or is there some way I could fix this ? I guess that would employ some sort of glue (short of replacing the whole door panel), but my attempt at that didn't hold.
