I am new to this stuff, but I would like to know what to expect when trying to install lowering springs by myself. Thank you.
Installing Lowering Springs on 2005 Camry

If you insist on distroying the ride in your camry let a mechanic do the job. It requires some special tools to disissamble the struts & can be very dangerous if you do not know what you are doing
Compressing the spring can be a very dangerous job if not done right. The spring can punch a hole in a cinder block wall not to mention you.
But if you have mechanic friends to help it's easy. Just make sure you get a decent set of struts because lowering springs can wear out the standard struts in no time. Bilsteins used to be available up to 1996 Camry, so for 2005 you have to ask around what the performance guys use.
