Anyone familiar with a "left drift" steering problem with the 2002 Solara? Alignment is ok. Tires are ok. Thanks.

I think it was "Bob" who stated:

If it's drifting left, the alignment isn't "ok". Take it back, tell 'em it's drifting left, and ask them to align it again. They can compensate accordingly.

The first step is to swap left and right wheels&tires. Does the drift change sides? If it does, you likely have a dented steel belt in the radial tire(s). Or you can have a worn wheel bearing.

Have swapped tires and wheels. Have had alignment done by competent indepedent shop. They say it still drifts to the left slightly, and they are correct. Is there a caster adjustment on the 2002 Solara?

Our '95 Camry LE four developed this recently as well. Alignment helped slightly, but the wheels haven't been swapped...
