Last year I paid $677 to have the damper part only (not the springs) replaced on all 4 wheels for a 1986 Camry - both labor and material. Another shop ha estimated the job at about $950. Perhaps the latter shop was estimating the cost of both dampers and springs; or they had higher-quality dampers in mind.
