I have a 1986 Camry and will probably be replacing all 4 MacPherson struts shortly.
Today I called a shop and asked for the material price for a replacement strut (both shock, spring and presumably the housing, too.) I don't want to prejudice any possible answers, so I won't divulge his price, but am wondering what people think would be an average price for such a unit.
I live in Cincinnati, OH., but expect the price wouldn't differ too much across the U.S. - but you never know, could be significantly higher in high-cost places like New York City.
