Hi! My car is fairly new, a year 2000 Camry XLE. Recently my steering wheel starts to make squeaking noise if I turn too much. I suspect this is a lubraction issue, can I take care of this myself? And if yes, how? Or should I ask my dealer to take a look at this problem?

Same problem with my 99XLE --a bit of WD-40 shot in there from time to time eliminates the problem.
Or if you don't want to do that --just don't turn!! Trouble with that is you may never get back home.

Lubriplate or another grease is longer lasting - use a matchbook cover to insert the grease.
A good lube spray, not wd40 on the universal joint just under the drivers side floor is what you want to spray.
