Why are Camry driveshafts so hard to remove ??

A few weeks back some of you talked about having so much trouble removing Camry driveshafts. I have replaced 2 in my Camry and I was beginning to think they would NEVER come out. What a job. I have replaced many , many shafts over the years....Honda , Fords , Pontiacs, Chevy and maybe some others that don't come to mind right now. WHY are the Toyota shafts so hard to remove ? All the others just took a little prying with a large screwdriver....kind of a quick snap released the snap ring and then they were loose all the way out. The Toyota shafts , at least the ones I have removed have been tight until completely out. Are they machined to closer tolerances or what ? I thought they just happened to be tight as all sorts of odd things happen to me when it comes to cars. Then I noticed these older posts tonight describing all the problems some of you have had and now I'm curious as to why Toyota ?

Thanks

Ken
