I have a '96 Tacoma and would like to replace the cloth split bench seat with leather bucket seats. I've never attempted any after market replacements so I'm looking for suggestions on where to start. I'm thinking I could find Tacoma bucket seats at a salvage yard and then replace the seat covers if necessary. Would that work? Would the mounting holes be the same for the bucket seats? Also, any recommendations on a manufacturer of leather seat covers?
