99 Tacoma hydrogen hookup question??

Jun 12, 2008 4 Replies

Hi all,

I have a 99 Tacoma V6 that I would like to try to hook a hydrogen tank to and see how it affects gas mileage. I am not looking to replace gas just offset the amount used. What line or way would be the best way to introduce hydrogen in?

Thanks,

Scott..

I've been considering CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) myself. As of May

25th it was selling for $.92/ Gal equivelent in Oklahoma City.

A company

makes home refueling stations andHonda produced a CNG car a couple of years ago. They also haveinformation on Hydrogen. Several companies make dual fuel conversion kits.

Thanks for the info Anyolmouse, I am hoping to be able to connect this HHO to a vacuum line without using a kit and reduce the amount of gas needed without causing any damage. I was hoping to came across some people here that might have done this and could recommend which line is best to use.

Thanks again for the info,

Scott..

Please let us know when you first try to start it, so we can duck. ;)

dennis in nca

Mix it with oxygen in a two-to-one ratio. Chill to almost 0 deg C and add CH3CH2OH

Stir and pour into a tall glass.

Then forget about driving anywhere.
