Are Toyota Warranties Transferable?Generally yes they are. After getting the vehicle, I would recommend going to the nearest Toyota dealership and buying the extended warranty option. As long as it is still within the factory milage/age apecs, they shouldnt give you any grief about it.  I am about to buy a 99 Tacoma with 42k miles. Is the remainder of the powertrn. Are Toyota Warranties Transferable?The factory warranty goes with the vehicle, not with the person.  Is the powertrain warranty 5 years or 60,000 miles?...not much left of that five years.Ken  I am about to buy a 99 Tacoma with 42k miles. Is the remainder of the powertrn. Warranty transferable?
