Egged between wipers

Nov 18, 2003 3 Replies

Some lil' bastard threw a couple of eggs on my new 2002 Tundra.

One hit on the hood, the other right between the windshield wipers. Now I have stale egg smell in the truck.

I was wondering what that air intake there is like? I sprayed it at the carwash. Could I put something down there? Could that grille cover be removed so I could clean it?

Thanks for any help

Pending a way to clean it out, you could try spraying an odor neutralizer into the vents. Since it isn't a mildew problem, Lysol (etc) likely won't quite cut it. Try an aerosol air freshener neutralizer spray or even Febreze (etc) and spray it while the air is running on high. My kids have done some stinky messes in hard-as-hell or darn-near-impossible to clean places and I've had good luck with those sprays and with plain old baking soda. I hope it isn't hot where you're at, I can just imagine the smell after a few weeks. Dee

Danged juvenile deliquients, and on a school night too!
