My glowing light around my key on a 96 tacoma faded out the other day. Is there a fuse for this in particular or is it a bulb to be replaced?

It runs on the same system as the overhead light, so if that's working then the ring itself is the culprit. It uses the same bulb as in the heater contorl box. I'm assuming it is the type that fades. This circuit I am not failiar with. Hopefully it's the bulb.
