Pickup pulls to right when I hit brakes

OK...

About a month ago, I finally remedied a problem with my 22r, 1988 pickup pulling to the RIGHT when I brake. I put two new calipers on with new brakes.

After I did that, it felt a million times better, but then pulled to the LEFT when I brake. So I rebleed the front calipers, and just drove and braked for about 20 minutes. Everything was fine after that. BTW, the brake lines are fairly new also.

Just yesterday, the vechile began pulling to the left again, and only the left tire will lock under heavy application. It only begins to pull after I hit the brakes for a few times. Could air be sneaking its way back in? I have not rebleed them, but I will this evening. Curious to your thoughts,...

TIA

i suspect warped rotors, or leaky calipers, check if the calipers leak. i had a similar problem earlier on my 4-Runner

with 2 new calipers I'd doubt they're bad, but do check for leaks... failing that I'd suspect a faulty master cylinder. Not too expensive, and a pretty easy fix. Just follow the instructions re: bench bleeding to a "T".

You *are* bleeding from all 5 bleeder valves (1 at each wheel and the load sensing valve), starting with the farthest from the master cylinder and working closer, right? I had a hell of a time with spongy brakes after replacing my calipers a while back and it was the damn load-sensing valve under the bed. Once I bled that and did a complete re-bleed all around it was as good as new. Very responsive brakes and absolutely no pulling.
