are you sure that when your rotor is pointing at #1 on the cap that your #1 cylinder is at the top of the compression stroke and not the top of the exhaust stroke? just a thought. -Pete
89 Trucks will have the new model). But both of them have the IAT sensor. Given that it is part of the AFM, I hope you haven't taken it apart! I was curious, so I looked in both my 88 and 94 FSMs. There should simply be some voltage (0.5V-3.5V) between E2 and THA, and you should check both at the throttle body and at the ECM, and the resistance value should be 2-3KOhm at 20C/68F. good luck!
