Re: OEM Parts

Jack, your on the east cost that gets fairly good snow with salts... get yourself a Walker replacement, better than OEM and costs less. have a local shop install one for you, most likley won't cost more than $120 with extra piping if needed...

Isn't that muffler covered by a lifetime warranty? The one on my 1982 Cressida was. Over the course of 240K miles they had to give me two new ones for free.

Walker is ok but remember that only the muffler --- not the connecting pipes and labor are covered under the lifetime warrantee. Bosal exhaust systems are available from Olympic Autoparts (they are NE company) have a lifetime warrranty on the entire system -- and the system is one piece so no leaks and easy install. Complete should be around $90-120. Replacement OEM ones have a lifetime warranty when installed by dealer --- and they often have specials --- so if you are happy with longeviety/performance of OEM give that a shot too.

salts... get yourself

a local shop
