Sequoia antenna will not extend in cold morning

The Sequoia's retractable antenna will not extend fully in the cold morning. Is there anything to lubricate it well? WD40 does not seem to work in this case.

ummmm....your "antenna" probably doesn't extend very well when it gets cold either. ;-)
