taco alarm

Hi,

If a taco does not have the keyless entry option, what is the best aftermarket alarm available?

A rabid Doberman in the back, and a large gun under your pillow. ;-P

Seriously, a regular alarm is only going to attract /your/ attention, 99.9% of people are going to ignore audible alarms going off unless it's their car. The best way to keep the car is to slow down the thief as much as possible - using multiple items like good alarms, Club locks, ignition kill switches... If the thief figures out it's too much trouble to steal your car he'll go pick an easier one.

If you want to get it back after it's gone, look into one of the systems that has vehicle locating like LoJack or OnStar.
