Toyota Help

Been a Chevy 4x4 owner for 30 yrs, now have my first Toyota. (I think I'am in love) It's a 80 4x4 std cab; no rust or dents; new white paint; new upholstery; glass; alloy wheels; 31x10.50 wild countrys. This 4x4 is a CHERRY one owner. The previous owner swaped eng and trans. Thinks the eng is 85 22R and 83-84 5spd tranny. The truck is a high miler but well worth going thru the mechanical fixes. I have no problems fixing steering, axles, ect. But I do need in-put on the eng-trans. How to ID what I have. Looking for web-sites that have info on what will fit what in the straight axle truck. thax in advance, Toyota new-be
