Tundra 4WD question

I read in a Tundra FAQ that you should NOT run 4WD on dry pavement (w/ zero slippage). The Toyota manual talks about running the 4WD about

10 miles a month to keep the front lubricated, however, the manual mentions nothing about this restriction. Does anyone here run 4WD on dry pavement? If you run 4WD for 10 miles a month on dry pavement, will it damage the drive system?

Thanks!

Straight line, very gentle cornering, moderate speeds. NO parking lots or tight turns... obviously no drag racing.

Normally, your only slippage would be on corners unless you have uneven tires.

You should engage it at least once a month to keep everything lubed up properly. It's not to say it will fail if you don't do this, but it will lessen the chances of it failing when you need it.

Go off-road monthly to keep it lubed up, that's what I do. :)

If you don't go off-road, just run it on dry pavement but try to avoid turning w/it in 4WD and ABSOLUTELY AVOID low speed turning. That's what will hurt. Because there is no slippage on dry pavement it puts a lot of stress on your drive components & tires to turn in 4WD at low speeds. That's if you're using part-time 4WD, which most Toyota Trucks older than the year 2001 are. Or 2000. I don't remember.
