NEGATIVE goes to ground. Just like American cars.
If you are going to jump it from another car, negative to negative and positive to positive.

What you might have been thinking it that the positive post on the battery is on the right side VS many others are on the left. (unless you have longer cables) NEGATIVE TO GROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jump start as you would do normally with any other car. Narley Dude®
