To drive a bug year round (at least in my area) the stock heating arrangement leaves lots to be desired. Has anyone any experience in adding a gas heater to a bug? Dave

I installed one, a BN2, in my 72 super, and installation is pretty straight forward, you have to cut a few holes in the car but other than that no big deal. Works like a charm, and keeps you quite warm. Speedy is right though, parts and the units themselves are expensive and hard to come by in good condition.
