Not a renewable or always cheap fuel source. Keep an eye on the price of that. Bet it's going to be going up big time soon.

I will have one (John Reids Bus, if he ever makes it back to Chile) to take pictures of.
Engine looks just like a normal engine, but pistons and heads are different... Johns engine has the alcohol heads but pistons with a deep (8mm deep) ditch in them to lower compression for gasoline...
Let me see if I can google some pages in portugeese...

If certain of my relatives were still alive, would probably have a big head start on this little project. I remember stories of stills, running cars on the alcohol, bootlegging, etc...
