Bondo UV?

Anyone ever used this stuff?

I thought about buying some but the two big-name stores that sell it online, JC Whitney & Ace Hardware, no longer carry it (in spite of the above-posted link). Makes me wonder if it quickly failed the test of time.

It's probably similar to the stuff I used to use on my surfboard when I got a ding on it. I'd apply it in the shade and then put a piece of clear plastic over it to keep it smooth then hold it in the sun a bit and it would get nice and hard.

But, I doubt this stuff is made for auto use. It sounds like general purpose type stuff.

I bet it works great, get yourself a UV light and it would cure instantly.

I've used it several times and like it. It feels tacky after it cures but sands out well. Take out what you need and seal the can, (no double dipping), as little balls of bondo will form causing "lines" in the application if you continue to work it.
