Resort capital. Cuba used to be a great resort island, fully Capitalized until it went communist. Of couse that means a lot of competition for the Floridians, something that Brother Jeb Bush can tell you about.

..................I can just imagine a modern-day politburo meeting in Havana:

......Comrade Fidel: "We need to lure those fat yankee bastards down here to our fancy European and Canadian financed resorts that are restricted away from most of our own people so that we can get our hands on enough yankee dollars to buy enough Coca-Cola and Kentucky Fried Chicken to keep our loyal proletarians from getting so hungry that they decide make us the guests of honor at a public hanging"

.....Comrade Raul responds: " But comrade Fidel, isn't this one of the reasons that we had our revolution back in those dark days of Yankee Imperialism........to get rid of those fat yankee bastards? I for one could never live under Imperialistic rule ever again. I hate Coca-Cola and everything else that is American except for baseball of course. This is too much for me and I must accuse you of betraying our revolutionary principles"

.........Comrade Fidel pulls out a pistolero, shoots Comrade Raul and then asks the rest of the committee if there are any others who want to die for their revolutionary principles.

...........Meeting adjourned.

Fidel isn't going to live forever.

Rum, cigars, and a lot of rust-free Detroit iron from the '50s. Some pretty hot music, too.
