Mmm, It is not what I would call "classic", but sure I would love to drive that thing!

Hi Group,
After reading the thread about suicide doors, I found it an interesting coincidence that I recent photographed a very nice custom bug with suicide doors -- at MOFOCO Bugfest last weekend:

I have seen kits for the Honda that allow their doors to flip out and up. I wonder if anyone is thinking of selling a kit to do that. I may just be a boltup. Joe Cali -www.nextgen-usa.com
I've been toying with creating aircooled versions of well-known tv/movie cars -- like an orange sedan with Cragar rims, a brushguard and a Dixie horn dubbed the "General Vee" or a black Ghia with gold trim a la the Trans Am from "Smokey and the Bandit" ... how about a suicide-doored standard sedan with a hood kit resembling the coupe in the ZZ Top video, "(She's Got) Legs"?
I LOVE that idea !!!! My vote goes for the VV-Top Sedan ;-)

one of the zztop dudes had a custom beetle...was black and "badazz"...hehe..had hidden headlights in the front fenders, and suicide doors, with a slick paintjob..was mirror-like...say it in a HOTROD mag years ago.... JT
