How about theType 4 ??? Remember the gas heaters top of trans???? I may be able to hep VW owners with problems..let me know. Also I am looking for any of the mechanics that once worked at Harblin Motors VW in Watetown..1968-1977...Thanks...Howie

Welcome, Howie!

Another good site for aircooled VWs is theSamba.com. I've seen bunches of diecast models in their classifieds.

I don't know about diecast models but there are email mailing lists at vwtype3.org and type2.com for those lines of classic VWs.

Word of wise.. do not comment or defend a person on here if they are getting brutally bashed.

Their is usually good reason in year old archived posts.. that you wont know about.

I know all about it!! I'm being serious..
