Is the two speed defroster switch on a 75 Super Beatle a rotary switch (turn to operate) or a toggle switch (push to operate) ?

Is the two speed defroster switch on a 75 Super Beatle a rotary switch (turn to operate) or a toggle switch (push to operate) ?
Should be a rotary switch located to the left of the 2 fresh air control knobs.
