Hiya John,

According to Garwood (Car of the Century, Volume 2) The AB series engine made its initial appearance during the 1971 production year. It was a dual port

1300 cc engine which produced 52 hp SAE/44 hp DIN. This engine was in production for three years. Serial numbers ran from AB0000001 to AB0990000.
