Hope someone can help. Just fitted a Car CD player head unit to my VW Bora (replacing the gamma casette player) and the speakers make a slight hissing sound even when the unit is switched off and the fascia removed.
Worse is that the remote control does not operate the Central locking. I can still use the key to operate the central locking.
If I Disconnect the power connector from the CD Head unit then the Remote control work OK again.
Please help - first time I have fitted a CD Player and was suprised how easy it was until I discovered the RC problem.
